Sahanpuru Terms and Conditions of Sale
Sahanpuru is a Finnish privately owned online store. We are eager workers and we always do what we have promised to do. We are honored to serve our customers professionally and passionately.
Sahanpuru is an online store maintained by Sahanpuru Oy (later on referred to as “Sahanpuru”) where the seller of goods is Sahanpuru Oy, Espoo (Business ID 2585243-7). The following terms and conditions will be applied to the commercial relations between Sahanpuru and its customers. The customer is the buyer ordering goods or services from the Sahanpuru online store.
Within consumer trade the valid consumer protection legislation between Finland and the European Union will be applied. These terms and conditions are not valid where they limit the consumer rights from what the imperative legal provision has imposed.
In the commercial agreements between corporate customers and Sahanpuru Oy, the Finnish commercial code will be applied unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.

Sahanpuru sells goods and services to private persons of age (later on referred to as “customer”) and, with the consent of the guardian, even to persons under the age of 18. Goods are also sold to companies, public administration, and communities (later on referred to as “corporate customer”) who are acquiring goods for professional use in Finland or abroad.
The customer is obligated to disclose their full contact information when placing an order. From private customers this includes at least their name, address, telephone number, and e-mail. The information required from corporate customers is the contact person’s name, telephone number and e-mail, as well as business ID, postal address, telephone number(s) and when necessary, invoicing address.

The delivery time estimates have been set according to the information provided by the importers and the manufacturers. Sahanpuru and its suppliers are not responsible for delays caused by any unforeseeable changes coming from outside of their sphere of influence. A binding commercial agreement will take effect once the order has been registered in Sahanpuru’s system.
The prices include the VAT, but not the delivery charges unless otherwise stated. If there are clear pricing mistakes in the catalog, the product will not be sold for a clearly lower price if the customer can be assumed to have understood the mistake.
There is no unilateral cancellation right for goods that have been manufactured, ordered, or remodeled according to the customer’s wishes. Any possible costs created by the cancellation of the order will be collected from the customer in full. An example of a product like this is the saw chain sold by Sahanpuru.
The ownership of the products will be transferred to the customer once the full price, including the delivery charges and taxes, has been paid to the supplier.
Orders will be paid mainly through the payment methods available at the time of the order. Bambora (Paybyway Oy, business-id FI24865594) is the one of the payment facilitators of the online shop. The Paybyway Oy is a payment facilitator authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland. The payment process is conducted in the online service of the Bambora. Bambora, Paybyway Oy or Bambora is shown as the payment received in the bank account listing and in the invoice. Paying with Bambora is safe. All information is exchanged through secured connections.
The trade happens between the online customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations related to the trade.

With Bambora you can pay your order by an internet banking account, a payment card (credit/debit), an invoice or a partial payment. Jousto: With Jousto invoice and part-payment you can pay in over 4000 online shop in Finland. With Jousto invoice, you get 14 days payment time (invoice fee 4,90 eur). Everyday: Everyday credit limit is at least 300 eur. Pay with one transaction by the end of next month (no extra fees) or with monthly payments. Minimum sum per monthly payment is 1/5 of the total sum of the bill. After the due date, 5% monthly interest rate is added. Annualized percentage rate for typical 500 eur credit is 48,52 %. Euroloan: Euroloan Consumer Finance Oyj (2159120-9) is a Finnish financing institution operating since 2007. Euroloan invoice and part-payment is available to over 20 years old consumers having a permanent address in Finland. The payment method is enabled for payments from 10 to 2000 eur. The part-payment is invoiced every 30 days. For example, annualized percentage rate for a 1500 eur credit is 26,1 % when the payment term is 12 months. The total price is 1697,15 eur (incl. interest rate 6 %, invoicing fee 3,95 eur/month, opening fee from 3 eur).
Euroloan Consumer Finance Oyj reserves a right to review the credibility and the address information of consumers using Euroloan invoice or part-payment. The consumer is also requested the provide the personal id number. The credit is approved or declined based on this review. Advance payment by bank transfer
An order can be paid as a bank transfer. The customer will receive banking details that need to be used for the payment along with the order confirmation. The goods will be reserved for the customer for three (3) business days, after which the order will automatically be cancelled if the order has not been paid.
The parcel service used for delivering the customer orders depends on the target country. The customer can choose the delivery method among the available methods when placing the order.
At best, warehouse items will depart from Sahanpuru on the day the order has been placed. The handling time is approximately 0-5 business days after the automatic order confirmation has been sent. The delivery time is normally 1-2 business days. A completed order is an order with all the items in the warehouse, reserved for the order, with an approved payment method.
We do not deliver goods using cash on delivery.
Delivery costsThe shopping cart will automatically calculate the delivery costs according to the goods when placing the order. The delivery costs will be paid together with the order. The delivery costs must to be paid before the delivery.
The customer has the right to exchange and return the goods within 14 days according to the Finnish Consumer Protection Legislation. The return right applies only to unused and saleable products still in their original packaging. Contact us by e-mail or telephone whenever making a return, and we will guide you in how to correctly return a product. Returns made in this manner will be free of charge for the customer. Independent returns or returns that have been made against our guidelines will not be compensated even if there is a receipt. The returned products must be fit for sale, unassembled, and unused. Sahanpuru will estimate the return upon receiving it and refund the purchase price and delivery costs once the condition of the goods has been confirmed. The handling and refund will take approximately five (5) business days.
Packing the goods is the sender’s responsibility. The products need to be packed carefully so the goods are not harmed during transport. At least 10 cm of padding is needed around the goods. Sahanpuru recommends always using the original packaging, which has been designed for safe transport.
Sahanpuru is not liable for the damage done to returned goods if they have been packed carelessly and against the terms of the agreement. Any costs caused by the customer’s mistake will be collected from the customer. Sahanpuru reserves the right to collect the costs from the customer if the customer return has been made without cause and against the terms of the agreement. Sahanpuru’s handling and delivery fees will be collected from the customer.
Personalized and customized items cannot be returned as customer returns. These items include for example saw chains. They are always cut from a big roll according to the customer’s order.
In case there are faulty goods in the delivery or any mistakes from Sahanpuru’s side, we will always take responsibility and finalize the order honorably. In a case like this the return fees are naturally our responsibility.
Warranty and liability for mistakes
All goods sold through us have at least a one-year warranty. The warranty is determined by the warranty terms set by the manufacturer. The buyer is responsible for reading the warranty policy before taking the product into use. The warranty policy can be found in the manual, a separate warranty form or a website pointed out by the manufacturer.
The customer is liable for presenting a certificate of purchase, a receipt or some other proof of the purchasing location and time when making a return or when making a complaint about an item. Sahanpuru reserves the right to collect any charges caused by locating a receipt from the buyer.
Only complaints made in writing will be handled. A free-formed complaint can be sent by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by regular mail to our address. It is possible to send feedback through our website or to fill out a contact form.
The warranty of a product that has been acquired for business use is determined according to the warranty set by the manufacturer. The end of the warranty period will also end Sahanpuru’s liability. Remodeling the product will end the warranty and the seller’s liability unless the manufacturer has stated otherwise.
Sahanpuru is not liable for any damage caused by force majeure. Force majeure is considered to be an unforeseeable event or a change in circumstances that is outside of Sahanpuru’s sphere of influence and that Sahanpuru cannot reasonably be expected to overcome. Sahanpuru is liable to inform the customer as soon as possible about any force majeure it has encountered.
Changes in the Terms and Conditions of Sale
Sahanpuru reserves the right to change these terms and conditions by a unilateral decision without any advance notice. The terms and conditions valid at the time of the order, available on Sahanpuru’s website, will be applied to the order. Any changes in legislation will be effective immediately as is, unless otherwise stated in the legislation.
If disputes regarding the terms and conditions of sale cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer can bring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before bringing the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Local Register Offices’ Consumer Advisors (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). European consumers can also use the European Union Online Dispute Resolution (ODR Platform). The service is available in all the official languages of the European Union. A Finnish consumer that has a dispute with a Finnish website is still advised to primarily contact the Consumer Disputes Board to resolve the issue.
